Exclusive ergonomic design of the handle. The result of special studies carried out at qualified University Institutes (research unit called EPM: Ergonomics of Posture and Movement at the Polytechnic University of Milan) and validated by computerized experimental tests.

Safe Antibacterial Protection

Sanelli and Biomaster, have developed permanent antibacterial protection for knife handles in the Premana line , using silver ions.

Biomaster is a silver ion-based, inorganic additive suitable for imparting antibacterial characteristics to plastics.

The additive Biomaster, provides a release of silver ions, which safely inhibits microbial growth from the first few minutes, reaching almost complete inhibition within 24 hours. Once incorporated into a product, Biomaster becomes an integral part of it providing safe, effective and inexhaustible antimicrobial protection.

Silver ions inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria by blocking their replication through bactericidal mechanisms.

Biomaster is incredibly durable, long-lasting and exceptionally active.

Biomaster is effective in all applications, and is added directly into the plastic compound of the TPE at the manufacturing process stage, providing permanent antibacterial effectiveness for the life of the knife handle.

Silver ions are an inorganic substance, they do not undergo any dilution loss of activity with the passage of time, always remaining active within the product in which they have been inserted. Therefore, the releasing action of its active ingredient, ensures maximum effectiveness throughout the life of the product (handle).

Laboratory tests have shown that Biomaster, inserted into the handles of the knives Sanelli Line Premana Professional , is effective in the permanent microbiological eradication of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) to the extent of 99.7 percent, obtaining ISO22196:20111 certification.
